If you are traveling to another state, territory, or country with your pet, a Certificate of Veterinary Inspection (CVI, “Health Certificate”) is often required for each pet. The certificate involves not only a physical exam by a veterinarian, but also complying with state and international regulations. Please note this can be an extensive and expensive process, depending on the destination state, territory, or country.
